Battygyal headlines with a dynamic blend of dub and bass-heavy club cuts that pay homage to her Jamaican roots. A true selector’s selector, she's graced the decks at some of NYC’s most beloved parties: Body Hack, Papi Juice, and Lava; flowing effortlessly between ambient textures and club pressure.

Fresh off a tour of Japan, onlytom delivers a high-energy mix of club rhythms, fusing Baltimore Club, hyperpop, trap, and leftfield edits. Her sets are built for movement: fast, fun, and full of surprises. Her productions have been championed by the likes of Archangel, Umru, and Jialing.

Opening the night is a B3B steeped in Fenian heritage:
Don-Ri, founder of Twist — NYC’s premier UK bass night — has brought heavyweights like Introspekt and Conducta to Mood Ring. In 2025, his dubstep and grime-driven sets have rocked the city's biggest soundystems at Nowadays and H0L0.

Freedom Writers is a fundraiser event for journalists in Gaza, which is taking place on July 3rd at Mood Ring in Bushwick. Attendees can pay an optional $5 at the door, and donate throughout the night (additionally, 10% of the bar proceeds will be donated). We’ve chosen to donate 100% of our proceeds to International Media Support, a trusted organization that’s aligned with our goal to aid journalists in Gaza. Their official site shows that donations to IMS will cover building tents for women journalists, basic needs (food, clothing, blankets), safety equipment such as press vests, helmets, phones, and cameras, as well as psychosocial support.

"By partnering with Freedom Writers, IMS can provide crucial support directly to journalists in Gaza," said IMS's Head of Fundraising, Maria Gerey Bak. "With your donation we can keep independent journalists and media outlets in Gaza operating, and they can continue to have a voice."

Come support free press and enjoy DJ sets from freelance journalist and head of HEADS KNOW Arielle Lana, Pitchfork music critic Alphonse Pierre, Finals Blog co-founder Andrew Matson, and Politics of Dancing's Annabel Ross. The event will be hosted by Arielle Lana, as well as journalists Timmhotep Aku and Andre Gee. There will also be free tattoos, courtesy of Twonksi.

Skint is thrilled to welcome Buckley (UK) to Mood Ring for the launch of our new party series. Featuring support from local selectors Eva Loveless and Still, expect a night of low-end frequencies fresh from the UK underground.

“Inspired by the sounds of the early 2000s with a forward-thinking flourish” - Buckley is a Manchester-based DJ and producer with an eclectic taste that touches right on the sweet spot between dark garage, dubstep & percussion-driven bass music. In a couple of short years his discography has mounted to include releases on the likes of SPE:C, ATW and ec2a. A sound that Resident Advisor described as “early 00s throwback garage done right,” referring to his Gloam EP on Well Street which dropped last year. As well as putting out 4 releases in the past year, Buckley delighted crowds at events such as Boiler Room and Outlook Origins, to name just a few.

2025 sees Buckley dive into a deeper and more percussive sound, with a number of releases due out on some of today’s most hottest labels.

Sharing a name with a beloved 2010s Dublin club night, Skint is a tribute to the essentials: cheap entry, deep basslines, and dancing like rent’s due.
